Challenge
Nokia Asia Pacific wanted to vastly increase their total number of South East Asian registered email customers within a short period of time. They needed help in defining the right strategy to approach this task and to devise the best possible strategy to accomplish their goal.
Solution
BLUE developed an online program for Nokia that included the overall regional strategy, new look and feel for their newsletters, and a focused 72-hour pilot in the Singapore market. This ran over a three-day period in August 2004 on Asia One and Yahoo Singapore, the program was a phenomenal success. A record number of customers visited the www.nokia-asia.com registration site during the period.
The program exceeded by nearly 2x the expected registrations during the 3-day period. The one-day ad on Yahoo Singapore captured the highest number of visits and registrations BLUE has ever recorded for a one-day ad in the Singapore market.
